No vetting, licensing, or insurance checks

Soo Gig does not perform background checks, verify identities, confirm qualifications, or check whether anyone listed here holds the licences, certifications, permits, or insurance that their work may legally require. A listing on this site is not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of anyone's competence, honesty, safety, or legal standing. Star ratings and reviews are opinions submitted by other users and are not verified by Soo Gig.

Before you hire anyone, check for yourself. Ask for proof of licensing and insurance where the work calls for it — especially electrical, plumbing, gas, roofing, tree work, childcare, and anything involving vehicles or heights.

Listings, profiles, reviews, photos, and messages are created by users. Soo Gig does not review content before it's published and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or safety. If you see something wrong, use the 🚩 Report link on the listing and an administrator will look at it.

Map pins are approximate

Location pins are placed by users themselves and are optional. A pin indicates roughly where someone is based or works — it is not a verified address, is not confirmed by Soo Gig, and should never be treated as an invitation to show up somewhere unannounced. Many people listed here work out of their own homes. Contact them first.

Administrator authority
